Just a quick post to tell you all that I’ve been featured on Cuteable today.
I’m in the Flickr Friday post and my little snow lady is there. I listed her in my shop this week.
Lynsey who chose her has a great Folksy shop, she’s really into recycling and makes some amazing things. I really love the cheeky chickens, this one especially.
Thank you very much Lynsey.

One of Folksy’s sellers Laura Cameron has this week opened up a new shop with the proceeds going to the Cancer Research charity. The shop aptly named Cancer ResearchUK is now filling up with hand crafted goodies donated by Folksy sellers.
Take a look, do your Christmas gift shopping there. Each listing gives a link to the sellers shop so that you can check out their other goodies too.
Well done to Laura, cancer is something that in one way or another touches everyone’s lives and this is a brilliant way of donating to the charity.

It’s been a good weekend so far, the weather’s been good and I’ve manged to get lots done.

We cleaned the inside of the cars and did weed killing yesterday, then I got some crafting done. It’s been mainly finishing off yet again!
I like to make my goodies then live with them for a few days before I put on the finishing touches. As you see in the photo……Baxter Bunny made from lightly felted lambswool, lovely and cuddly. The sock snowman, just waiting to decorate your room at Christmas. Finally two brooches, the orange one is crochet and a cotton yoyo, trimmed with a nice button. The black one is a stripe yoyo finished with organza ribbon and a shell bead.
As usual they can all be found here . The shop is now getting nicely stocked with some Autumn and Christmas items. Now the weather is getting cooler I should be able to get my granny squares put together to make the blanket which will be listed in the shop later on.

I’ve been a very lazy little blogger…..I haven’t had anything to say so I thought, don’t waffle on just say nowt and I did!

Anyway today I made my first sock creature, he’s called Cyril and he’s the result of a genetic experiment that went wrong in the lab. Here he is, so decide for yourself. I’m not sure about him yet but Joss likes him. I enjoyed making him so I just might get some more socks and create a creature again.
One of our daughters is in Mexico for two weeks, I hope she’s enjoying it. I know the weather is good for them, hopefully the heat isn’t spoiling their fun. I think we could do with a bit of Mexican weather here right now. We have lots of outside jobs to do next week so fingers crossed for some sunshine and yeah the local kids are back at school on Monday.
